Growing up in Hacienda Heights, CA. Donald came to an early realization that he wanted to be involved in the prosthetics and orthotics field. At the age of eleven, Donald saw prosthetic legs and arms at his brother’s prosthetic work and knew he wanted to do that for the rest of his life. Donald always loved to work with his hands. Throughout his high school and college years, Donald found a love of working in woodshop and learned to build custom cabinetry which he still does today. Donald later went on to attend Dominguez Hills for graduate school earning a degree as a certified prosthetist and orthotist. “I love building custom solutions to help people ambulate and live life to the best of their ability,” says Donald. “Observing a patient roll into the office in a wheelchair and walk out with a prosthetic leg an hour later never gets old. Helping patients to regain the ability to walk again is rewarding and these patients are a huge inspiration for me.”
When not at work you will often find Don on a fun adventure with his wife Beth or at a park enjoying their two dogs Nahla and Hilly.
